Today (03/29/2023), the Brazilian government published GECEX Resolution No. 467, of March 28, 2023, which extends the tariff reduction to zero for products that are necessary for the Covid-19 pandemic (Covid List).

According to the resolution, the list will remain in force until March 31, 2024, with the exclusion of a few products.

Among the excluded products are some types of ethyl alcohol, azithromycin, ivermectin, variations of chloroquine/hydroxychloroquine, safety glasses, automatic respirators (steel lung), protective masks and other surgical clothing, some fabrics used for the manufacture of such clothing such as derivations of synthetic propylene filaments and TNT, and protective visors.
