US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the IRS signed this month, an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Mutual Recognition Agreement (ARM). This ARM builds on other agreements between CBP and the Brazilian government and aligns the security of each nation's supply chains as well as efforts to combat customs and trade violations. Its signature is the next step in ensuring compatibility between each nation's trade and security programs as we move into the next phase of working together.
